Nike ‘Air Max Day’ Releases

Gearing up for this year’s Air Max Day, Nike recently held a special preview event in Shanghai. The exclusive event brought together some of the Air Max line’s biggest collaborators to share their love of the lauded footwear line. Nike Air Max HAL Pack

Nike continues to set its eye on revamping retro classics with a three-sneaker HAL Pack that includes the Air Max 90, Air Max 95 and Air Max 97 Ultra ‘17. It’s united by an army flight jacket-inspired palette of olive green and black. Each old-school silhouette is swathed in premium suede, tactical nylon and buttery leather, all the while maintaining their respective design features.The HAL pack will release tomorrow at select Nike Sportswear Japan retailers and online at Nike’s web store. –HB

Nike Air Max 98 OG “Tour Yellow”

The Nike Air Max 98 is approaching it’s 20th anniversary, and now we finally have official release details. Teased last month on social media, fans seemed to be very pleased at the return of the retro colorway. The “Tour Yellow” is set to release on January 26th and we can expect a full retrospective push when Air Max Day rolls back around. It will launch for $160 from Nike retailers. –HB

The breathable iteration found a home with distance runners, and is still a favorite among both casual wearers and athletes. Decked out in a monochromatic upper of black nubuck and matching leather, the design opts for a hint of contrast and employs a stark white midsole as “Bright Crimson” decorates the Max Air unit and outsole. One of the cleaner BWs to surface as of late, the Black/Bright Crimson-Wolf Grey look is available now at NSW spots like Berlin’s Overkill. –HB
